Be prepared
Always carry a camera - all the time! Whether you've got a compact digital, single use film - or even your camera phone, make sure you've always got something to get those shots with!
Change the angle
Taking pictures of your kids? Get down on their level to get a whole new perspective! A face on shot from this angle looks great and gives a completely different look to your pictures.
Record it all
In true documentary style make sure you record everything about your holiday to build a real story-book. Don't forget to keep tickets and other momentos to add to the finished album!
Be creative
Most digital cameras have an array of special effect modes such as 'through glass, fireworks and other functions to get the best from specific scenes. Get familiar with these so you can get the most from your photography.
